We had dinner next to a really cool dad who had a science lecture with his ~10 year old daughter on black holes, Mobius rings (infinity loops) and the shape of the earth. She was performing at an A grade level and even explaining the science of Mobius rings back to him, while showing him in real time using tape and cut up paper.
He did such an amazing job at encouraging her questions and creative thoughts. Building her up and giving her the right questions to help her move forward. Great parenting advice given by a stranger in a pizza joint.
With this girl in mind, the future is bright! Us three engineers where both impressed and moved by their passion! Meanwhile, I’ve been posing by Seine today, and had French toast.. Back to tackling the mysteries of the universe on Tuesday.
